Toys R' Us Memorial Day Deals

If you're out doing some shopping today, take along these Toys R' Us coupons! There's one for $10 off any diaper bag, which should make a great deal! The coupons are also good at Babies R' Us if you're going that direction!

New Clearance Finds-Kroger Willis

There were lots of new clearance items in the bins at Kroger in Willis recently. Lots of Tortilla Chips, $1.29. They had a whole basket full of Kroger brand rubbed Sage for $0.75.

There were only a few of these Happy Baby yogurt bites, for $1.99. Happy Baby often has coupons on there website or partner websites, so be sure to check!

And there was a lot of Annie's Mac & Cheese, specifically the Shells & Aged Cheddar for $0.79.

Mama Juanita's Mexican Restaurant Coupons

We haven't tried Mama Juanita's yet, but have been wanting to! Thanks to Creedance for sharing that she found these coupons on their website, good at all three locations: Conroe, The Woodlands, & Spring! We'll have to go there soon!

More Target Clearance Finds!

There were MORE clearance finds at Target in Huntsville! These Stacy's Pita Chips were $1.88. The Archer Farms Chocolate Truffle Coffee was $3.48. Juicy Juice packs were $2.41. The Wonka Bars were $1.67 and there was a B1G1 coupon in this past Sunday's insert.
These Archer Farms Snacks were not on an endcap, they were in their regular place. These pretzels were $1.53. They also had Flavored Popcorn for $2.05 and Pita Chips $1.88.

In the toy section, there was a lot of Play Doh for $0.67. And as you can see, a few Cars items that might be nice for a birthday gift after Cars 2 comes out!

There were more dresses added to the clearance section in the toddler clothes department! These in the top picture ranged in sizes from 18 mo. to 4T and were $10-14. The adorable dresses in the bottom picture were infant sizes, 9 mo. + and started at $9.

And the BEST find was some of the clearance items from previous weeks that were marked down even more! The Create your own Time Capsule kits were marked down to $2.48. The other kits were still $4.98.

And pretty much everything on the clearance endcap behind the pet food aisle that I posted about earlier, was being marked down as I walked by. The Old Spice Bonus Packs were $2. The Olay Bonus Packs were $2.08. The Lysol Starter kits were $6.98. And the Listerine were $1.24.

I happen to have some great coupons that made some of these items a steal! I had B1G1 Coupons for the Old Spice Body Wash and for the Old Spice Deodorant which you can use along with $1/1 coupon (depending on your store-but Huntsville does allow this). And I also had 2 $1/1 Target coupons to stack with them. So for 4 bonus packs of OS deodorant and 2 bonus packs of OS body wash I paid $1! And I had a $2/2 Target coupon for the Olay, that I can stack with $1/1 Manufacturer coupons I have. Which makes them $0.16 for 2 bonus packs!

To see if there are coupons available for clearance items, search this coupon database at AFULLCUP.com!

Willis: Kroger Deals

Just a few things to mention from the Kroger in Willis. (Excuse the horrible picture-taking!) The first picture is where the Kandoo Baby Wipes normally are. They were out. Bummer! But, a very kind associate went and checked in the back for me, and said they should be restocked tomorrow morning. These, as you can see, are 10/$10 right now through 5/29. And there were $1/1 Kandoo Product coupons in the 4/3/11 P&G Insert, making them free! If you don't still have that coupon, there are many clipping services that you might find them through. Or maybe even ebay! If they're out when you check, be sure to get a raincheck!

If you've never checked out Kroger's clearance baskets back by the bakery, here's a good reason why! I'm sorry for how this picture turned out, but from what I can remember there were Enfamil Next Step Soy Formula cans $6, Earth's Best Soy ~$14.99 and the small Enfamil Lipil Cans were $2. A lady came up and took about 6 of these, so there's only a handful left! I always see Formula coupons in the Sunday inserts, so there should be some to make these even cheaper!

There were also some Ball Canning Pectin Packets for $0.40. Some NatureMade Vitamins, and lots of other products! Just be sure to always check to expiration date and seals! Just last week I bought some Italian Seasoning on clearance at Walgreens, got home and the seal was completely off!

Sam's Club Membership $10 for 10 Weeks

Now through June 5th you can get a 10 week Sam's Club membership for $10! While, this is not really a great deal, considering you can get a year (52 weeks) for $40, which is less than $1/week...if you don't want to spend the whopping $40 at one time, or you just want the membership for the summer, this is great!

New Target Clearance Finds

These were some of the new Clearance Finds at Target in Huntsville. The Bottle Cap Jewelry Kits were added to the ones I mentioned last week. I had to get one to either save for a gift or something...Of course, last night my daughters saw it and immediately wanted it...so I may have to go back for more! I even thought a couple of kits would make a nice craft activity/party gift for a young girl's birthday party! The Lysol starter packs were about $8. There's a $3 coupon on their website when you register, which would make them $5. The Old Spice bonus packs were about $3-4. The Olay bonus packs were about $5. In my opinion, not great deals, but if you're needing them and combine with a coupon, it's not a bad deal! They also had a clearance endcap behind the snack/chip aisle with lots of food clearance items, but I didn't see anything worth mentioning!

Freecycle

Since I didn't have much time this weekend or today to look for deals, I wanted to take the opportunity to invite everyone to join Freecycle! They say it best:

"It's a grassroots and entirely nonprofit movement of people who are giving (and getting) stuff for free in their own towns. It's all about reuse and keeping good stuff out of landfills. Each local group is moderated by local volunteers. Membership is free."

It runs out of Yahoo Groups and you just post "offers" and "wanted" posts. If you're comfortable with it, the "takers" can pick up at your porch/driveway; or if not, you can meet them somewhere to exchange the items!

I've been a member of Freecycle for at least 1-2 years and love it! I can't stand throwing away things that are still perfectly good or just need a little repair. And if I'm looking for something specific, I can ask on my local group to see if anyone is wanting to get rid of one!

Couponing for Community Week

This coming Saturday is National Stamp Out Hunger Day...where you leave a bag of food/non -perishables by your mailbox for your postal worker to pick up. Well, as a mission to encourage more donating, not just of food, a great cause has started the week leading up to National Stamp Out Hunger Day! And I LOVE it, because it is right up my ally!

This whole week is known as Couponing for Community. I began couponing a long time ago before kids and put it on the back burner for a while during college and then when I had our first daughter. But for about 3-4 years now I have been practicing getting better and better at couponing and saving money. One of things you do to save money and avoid paying full price is have a little "stockpile" of items when you buy them dirt cheap or free with coupons. Well, as experienced couponers know, there are certain items you begin to NEVER pay for because they are ALWAYS on sale and free or dirt cheap with coupons. So, for quite some time now, I've been donating items as I get "too many" in my stockpile. But to be honest, I have neglected going through my shelves and donating for a while now...So when I heard about Couponing for Community Week, I was elated! The perfect motivation to clear some things out AND contribute to the cause's 10,000 item donation goal!

This is our dining room table covered with 160 items (that I paid zero for out of pocket) I'll be dropping off tomorrow at a nursing home, The Hospitality House, The Animal Shelter, and SAAFE House. There were so many other items I'd like to donate, but need to find somewhere to take them first! This is not intended to be a brag post, my hope is that readers will in turn be encouraged and motivated to give from our abundance! I love couponing as a hobby and as a way to save money for our family. It allows me to do things I love...SHOP...and MATH! LOL But one of the GREATEST joys of couponing is that it allows me to donate so much when otherwise we would not be able to. I really do consider it a talent and a ministry!

If you're new to couponing and want to get a better start, check out the links on my sidebar and my Monday Deal posts. These blogs ARE the main blogs I follow that basically hand the deals to you every week! It's that simple! Getting "hauls" like the ones pictured on TLC's Extreme Couponing show are just that....extreme! Experienced couponers know that those shopping trips are not realistic and are probably set up for the show. However, once you get into the blogs that lay the deals out for you, it is very easy to slowly build a stockpile and begin donating for little to no money!

Local Clearance Finds-Target

Here are some of the clearance items at Target, Huntsville. I didn't write down prices and didn't see anything TOO great, but there are a few mentionables! In the top picture there's a VIO ultraviolet light toothbrush sanitizer. We have one of these and ordered it online for around $50 plus shippping. It was about $24.98 if I remember correctly. So that's a good deal if you're wanting one!

There were quite a few Iams dog food as you can see, but in my opinion, it was still pricey. But if that's the brand you like, try to stack a $1.00 Target coupon with a $1.00 Manufacturer coupon to get additional $$ off! Other items there were some deordorants, Luna snack bars, vitamins, Airwick Refill Twin Packs, and various Beauty items.
