Groupon: Great Deal on Golf

I almost didn't post this deal, because I feel like I've been posting A LOT of Groupon deals lately, but after I read the details, I had to share it with you!!

Today's Groupon is for The Woodlands Golf Center.

Choose from the following options:

• For $5, you get one large bucket (100 Balls) of driving-range balls.
• For $17, you get a half-hour private lesson from PGA professional Aaron Dyer.
• For $29, you get an individual month-long driving-range membership. The membership grants patrons unlimited range balls and free admission to weekly golf clinics for a calendar month.

Groupon: Texas Renaissance Festival

Today's Groupon is for $18, you get one Saturday and one Sunday pass to the Texas Renaissance Festival in Plantersville (up to a $35 value).

There was quite a bit of confusion on the Questions & Answers Page, so I'll try to summarize. This Groupon is for ONE Saturday pass and ONE Sunday pass, to be used by the SAME person, but not necessarily consecutively! If you want to buy another Groupon for your spouse or friend to go with you, you may buy up to 2 Groupons, just select one for yourself and one for a gift. It doesn't really matter on the Groupon, what matters is when you go to redeem the Groupon (after 8/28) on the Texas Renaissance Festival page, you must enter the names of the people who will be using the tickets. Their names must be on the tickets.

MyPoints.com has a great deal right now on Chili's Gift Cards. Get a $20 gift card for only $10!!

You do have to join Mypoints (for free) to get this deal, but MyPoints is awesome! Since I have been a member, I have gotten some GREAT Gift Cards with my points that I earn on their site! I usually get a $50 Outback or Olive Garden gift card, because we like to go out to eat, but they also have CVS, Lowe's, Home Depot, and lots more!

Groupon: Mattress Firm Deal!

Groupon has a GREAT deal today for Mattress Firm Houston Locations, including Conroe and The Woodlands! For $50, you get $200 toward a mattress at Mattress Firm! Valid only for mattress sets and mattresses. Not valid toward Tempur-Pedic products. Not valid with outside offers, valid only with in-store offers and sale items.

I wish I had one of these when we bought our mattress set this past year! It basically saves you $150! And it doesn't expire until Feb 24, 2012, so you have plenty of time to watch the sales!

Eversave: Montgomery Golf

Eversave is another site like Groupon and today one of their offers is for Blaketree National Golf Club.

Choose from the following options:

• $15 for round of golf with a cart (up to a $35 value)

• $55 for foursome of golf with two carts (up to a $140 value)

Fine Print:

Recent Target & Walgreens Clearance Finds

This is the clearance end cap at Walgreens in Huntsville. As you can see there was quite a bit of Baby Formula. If I remember correctly, these were only about $1-2. Check afullcup.com for coupons for an even better deal! There were also batteries, dog food, and graduation celebration items!


This end cap at Target in Huntsville had a ton of Arm & Hammer 44-load Laundry detergent around $4. I had a coupon for $1/2, but since there were so many, I decided to wait and see if they get a further price reduction!


Target had Lunchables on clearance for $0.88! Not the best deal, but certainly cheaper than most sales on these. I grabbed up a couple just to have on hand for a lazy lunch!



Target has also further reduced their summer plasticware! The sign says 30%, but the prices marked were 75%! The pitchers were $1.98, the covered chip/dip servers were $2.98 just to give you an idea!


This frozen juice concentrates were marked clearance. The prices were really strange though. Some were seventy something cents, some were around $1, so it would be worth double checking at a price scanner if you want some! It may be less than what's marked!


Here's the clearanced food end cap. I didn't see anything GREAT, but the Starkist Tuna was about $1.50 and I know there were some $1/2 coupons available, making them about $1 each. There's also $1/2 Ortega products coupons available too if you like Taco Sauce.



This end cap behind the sports section had a bike trailer for about $44, but also quite a few toddler dress-up leotards and skirts for about $3.48, the baking kit on the bottom was about $9.98 and the slip & slides were around $12-13!


I wanted to just mention the children's clearance racks for a few reasons. There were swimsuits for $5 (think next season)! And lots of other cute clothes., including some very nice boutique-style skirts! Check Target's Website also, because I know recently they've had some printable clothing coupons on there!



The baby section had 1st Birthday-wear on clearance, Gerber formula for $21, the Huggies blue jean boxes were $13. Again, check afullcup.com for coupons~there should be some for some of these!


And there was a whole aisle of women's shoes marked at 70% off!

Groupon: Children's Museum 50% off!

Groupon: The Children's Museum of Houston for $8, you get two admissions to the Children's Museum of Houston (up to a $16 value). They expire October 20, 2011.

From what I understand in the comments section, if you purchase 2 at one time (for example), paying $16 total, they must all be used at one time, so 4 admissions total. But if you purchase 2 separate Groupons (buy one, check out, pay. Come back, buy one, check out, pay.), they may be used at separate times (2 admissions one day, 2 admissions another day).
