Christmas Clearance!!!

Sorry for the lack of posts lately, but I haven't been doing as much clearance shopping with the baby. More often than not, I'm just trying to get in, get what I need and get out before the next feeding! :) But, I wanted to share all the clearance finds after Christmas. My husband thinks I'm crazy, but the day after Christmas is when I start shopping for next year's Christmas presents! LOL

These first pictures are at Walgreens in Huntsville. They had a whole aisle of toys on clearance. From the looks of the prices, they're about 30% off. And of course, the Christmas aisle was 50% off.Also on the Christmas aisle is a small section of baking & grocery items marked down. The Libby's canned pumpkin was $0.80! And there were pie filling, sugar, no-bake cheesecake, crisco, and "picnic" meals (like lunchables).

This next picture is from CVS in Huntsville. Still LOTS of Christmas items at 50% off.


Target had clearance items ALL OVER the store! Shoes were 30-50% off!


Aveeno Baby Gift Sets were marked down to $6 something, from $9.99 (even better if you have a coupon!). The other gift sets were about $5


The baby aisles had TONS of clearance. This first picture, you can see almost all of the Tiddliwinks brand blankets, lovies, etc were on clearance.
And over on the next aisle over, lots of clothing items, including Gerber brand, were on clearance. There are printable Gerber coupons HERE to make them even cheaper!


There were also several endcaps and an aisle of toys marked at 30% off! If there's something you REALLY want, you may want to buy it now. But otherwise, wait..because they usually go up to 50% or more in the next few weeks!



I was really surprised at the amount of Christmas items still on the shelves! There was a ton (also at Wal-mart). The stores in Conroe had less than this the day after Christmas and these pictures were taken on Wednesday, two days later! So, if there's something you need for next year they may still have them on hand!

And here's one little endcap behind the beauty section that had clearance beauty gifts, fragrance sets, and clearance AirWick products. The Conair foot baths were $13ish. Not bad!


Some items you can regularly find on clearance after the holidays that you may find coupons for include Glade products, Airwick products, SOLO & Hefty disposable items, DUCK packaging products, Holiday-flavored coffees and cookies, like Peppridge Farm, Dunkin Donuts, & Starbucks, Chocolates & other candies, etc. Totally Target has a great list of coupons for items that you might be able to find in the Christmas clearance section! And be sure to check her more recent posts for items she's found on clearance!

Brookshire Bros. Double/Triple Qs!!

I was in Brookshire Bros. the other day (using some FREE item coupons I got in their weekly email), and saw this sign!! WOW! YAY!! I was in a hurry and didn't have time to ask about it, but called and they are doubling up to $0.50 and tripling up to $0.39! This runs through the end of the month (12/31). Take advantage while you can!!

Target Dunkin Donuts Deal!

This week there's a pretty good deal on Dunkin Donuts Coffee at Target! This week when you buy 3 Dunkin Donuts Coffees you get a $5 Gift Card. The price for each bag is $6.99...but there's an end cap at the Huntsville store (behind the chips/snacks) that has some clearanced Strawberry Shortcake and Toasted Almond at $5.58 at bag! Monday, the 31st Family Faith Church in Willis is hosting it's annual Halloween Extravaganza that starts at 6:00pm!



Casa Ole is having a great deal if you're out and about Trick or Treating with your kids Monday! Dressed-Up Kids eat for only $0.50! This is only valid Monday and I'm not sure if you have to have the coupon or not. There was a coupon to print in the email I received about it, so you might call ahead to see if you need it or not. But if you haven't already signed up for their emails, you might as well! They give you a FREE entree (up to $10) on your birthday! And lots of other offers too!



As you can see, Conroe Outlets is also hosting a "Trick or Tweet" event on Monday from 4pm-6pm! Maybe some of the goodies will include coupons! Who knows!

Target Clearance--Gift Ideas!!

As Christmas is getting closer and closer, I find myself keeping an ever-wider eye open for Gift Ideas!! (Even when I already have gifts for some people...I still find myself looking for something for them! Guess I need to start carrying my list with me, so I can stay on track!)

Anyway, these pictures are from the Target in Huntsville recently and they show some Great Gift Ideas for kiddos!


Here there was a LOT of bedding, mostly twin-sized at 50% off, ranging from $14-$30ish. But on the bottom shelf, there were tons of these child-sized folding chairs with animal shapes for about $6!


Here there were a few "kits" for about $4-10!



And tons of Crayola clearance!!


And lastly they had quite a few paper plates/napkins/wrap at 30% off!

Conroe: Kroger Clearance!

Kroger at N Loop 336 Conroe has a nice size clearance section near the front on the pharmacy side. Last time I was in there, here are some of the "better" deals I saw, of course there were lots of other items, including Smoking Cessation Lozenges, Cake Decorating Toppers, some baby Astros accessories, and more!

Target Clearance

I had to post on some recent Target Clearance Finds, because some were Awesome! This first picture is of some Merona skirts in the women's clothes clearance section. They along with quite a few capri pants and bermuda shorts were $4.98-$6.98. I got a pair of the bermuda shorts and used a $5/1 Merona Bottom Target coupon to get them for FREE! Unfortunately this coupon is no longer on their website, but if you printed it go check out the clearance racks! If you didn't, this is a good reason to print these kinds of coupons!! I also got a Liz Lange Dress that was marked $6.98, for $3.98 after the $3/1 Target coupon!

This rack of Girls' Clothes was actually by the Women's Clearance section and the prices ranged from $2.98-$4.98. And there was a basket next to it waiting to be sorted and hung up. It had blue jean skirts, plaid skirts, and girls' & boys' polo shirts, ranging from $4.98-$6.98!

Clearance in the toy section still had summer items, and a few other things. There were two karaoke machines that would make good Christmas gifts for around $30.



I highly recommend checking out the home department at your local Target!! Mine had this aisle of clearanced lamps. But on the other side (sorry no picture--it was too crowded!) was an aisle FULL of all kinds of home department items: sheets, comforter sets, towels, dish sets, flatware, clocks, the list goes on!

The only new things I saw on the clearance end cap behind the pet section was the Dove bonus packs. The bar soap bonus packs and the deodorant bonus packs were both $3.48.

The end caps behind the office supplies had lots of possible gifts of Clearanced Crayola sets, some dish sets, and still some school supplies.


Check the aisles too, the following clearance items were in their normal shelf spots!

Conroe CVS & Walgreens Updates

I stopped in the 105 CVS in Conroe today, and just thought it was worth mentioning that they had sale items in stock still! Plenty of Schick Razors! Plenty of Softsoap Body Wash. And Plenty of Excedrin (up front at check-out). Although I didn't see ANY Thermacare 1ct. Didn't even see a place for it on the shelf.

But they also had quite a few summer items on clearance at 50%! (Sorry, no picture!)

The Walgreens on N336 also was pretty well stocked still. I didn't check ALL the sale items, but they had the Zarbee's (up front-you have to ask for it), plenty of W Brand Maxi's, plenty of Renu Solution, plenty of Balance Bars! It really was an unusual sight for me today! :)

Target Clearance Finds

Here's some clearance highlights from Target this past week! The school supplies and garden section were small, but 75% off! I got 10 rulers for $1.20~$0.12 each to donate at my next opportunity. There were still a lot of those left, folders, some composition books, etc.



In this first picture you can see there were lots of Kleenex clearance, Whiskas, Temptations, Purell, and Vitamins! I didn't have coupons for any of these items, so no awesome deals here for me, but it all depends on what you need or are looking for!


These Splish Splash Pools were marked down to $9.67. Not bad for a fun activity for next summer, or a Summer birthday gift!



As you can see the summer items were 75% off. I wish they had the reusable swim diapers in a boy color! They were marked down to $1-2! The little infant pools with a canopy were $3-4 and the whale-shaped infant pools were $1.74! I couldn't pass that up since we'll be needing something like this again next summer!


They STILL had Gerber forumla on the baby clearance end-cap. It was $19. The baby food was $0.33, if I remember correctly.
