Every year the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion hosts the Houston Symphony's Star-Spangled Salute on July 3rd at 8:00pm. The first year I went was actually for a music class, and I was hooked! Gates open at 6:30pm and it is completely FREE!!
Then on July 4th, 300Bowl in Conroe is having 99 Cent Games All Day and $1.50 Snack Bar Specials! 99 cents a game will provide some very inexpensive bowling AND keep you in the AC!
This deal goes from 11:00am to 11:00pm!
